As Gaeilge: Irish Short Stories with Translations - Dymphna Lonergan

The English and Irish versions of the stories run parallel on the left and right to allow multilingual readers to strengthen their use of the new language.

Dymphna Lonergan is a retired academic from Flinders University, South Australia. She was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, immigrating to Adelaide in the 1970s with her husband and baby son. A daughter was born in Adelaide, and there are now two Australian grandchildren.

Dymphna calls both Ireland and Australia 'home'. Throughout her life in Australia, she has maintained an interest in Irish culture, in particular the Irish language, both as a teacher and a life-long learner.
